Black Arowana
Black Arowana
The Black Arowana is a striking and commanding freshwater predator native to the blackwater rivers and flooded forests of South America. Juveniles display a dramatic deep black or dark silver body with vivid orange-tipped fins, making them one of the most visually impressive fish available in the hobby. As they mature, the coloration typically transitions to a sleek silver, but their imposing presence and fluid, serpentine swimming style remain iconic at any size.
